Kurdistan participates in the World Economic Forum Davos

ARK News: The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, will participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Forum President Brooke Brenda said, that "a very good group from the Middle East will participate in the forum, including the President of the Kurdistan Region, and the President of the Republic of Iraq, with the Special Representative of the United Nations in that country."

He added that "there will be an opportunity to discuss ways to calm the situation in the region, especially Iraq."

US President Donald Trump, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and a group of heads of state and government of other countries will also participate in the forum.

The Davos Forum in Switzerland will start on January 21 and continue until 24 of the same month.

The forum will also attend 300 personalities from heads of state, officials and businessmen coming from 118 countries to Switzerland, according to media sources.

The World Economic Forum holds an annual Davos forum to discuss economic issues facing the world in the presence of influential political figures.
