Iran announces the end of Tehran's response to the assassination of Qasim Soleimani

ARK News .. Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, announced Wednesday the end of Tehran's response to the assassination of the commander of the Quds Force, with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Qassem Soleimani, who was killed by an American march near Baghdad International Airport at dawn last Friday.

And Zarif pointed out in a tweet on his Twitter account that Tehran's response to the assassination of Qassem Soleimani was over, stating: We bombed the base from which the plane that targeted Soleimani was launched.

He added, that Iran has taken and concluded proportional measures in self-defense under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter targeting rule from which the cowardly armed attack against our citizens and senior officials began.

He stressed, "we do not seek escalation or war," adding that "we will defend ourselves against any aggression."
