ARK News: Participation of US Marines in military maneuver in Morocco has been canceled and 2200 troops are heading for the Middle East.

The US Department of Defense was informed that the participation of US Marines in a military maneuver in Morocco had been canceled and 2200 US troops were heading to the Middle East, Sputnik reported.

The US Marines are scheduled to join troops from the 82nd Airborne Division from Fort Prague in North Carolina. The United States recently announced it is sending 3,000 reserve troops to the Middle East to bolster its military presence in the region following the assassination of Commander Qasim Soleimani in an air strike near Baghdad Airport.

On January 2, Trump ordered the assassination of Qasim Soleimani, causing tensions in the region. Day 3 Missiles from the MQ-9 Reaper US drone were fired at Sardar Soleimani’s convoy. Trump chose to assassinate Qasim Soleimani’s military assassination under the auspices of his anti-Iranian advisers, during a briefing by his national security team.
