The settlement of Idlib IDPs in the homes of displaced Kurds in Afrin
ARK News: A Human Rights Organization working to document violations in the Kurdish region of Afrin reported on its main page of Facebook today, 25.12.2019, that there is a large displacement from Idlib to Afrin, in western Kurdistan (Syrian Kurdistan), indicating that they forcibly returned the homes of the forcibly displaced Kurds.
The Human Rights Organization in Afrin said that convoys of IDPs from Idlib governorate continue to arrive in the Afrin region in coordination and understanding between the conflicting parties and hand them over to the homes of the forcibly displaced Kurds.
The Organization added, that despite the misfortunes that befell them (those displaced from Idlib), they are blackmailed by the armed elements affiliated with the Faylaq Al Sham and forcing them to pay a sum of $ 200 to allow them to pass through its checkpoints in the village of Derbalute and the Al-Hamzat group receives them in order to resettle them in a Complex Cars are on the road to the village of Kafarshile, and some have been distributed to the Ashrafiya and Mahmuodiya neighborhoods, except for their settlement in warehouses and villages in Jenderes and Shiye towns.
The Organization continued, "the armed elements have imposed on the Kurdish citizens in the Afrin region who own cars by going to the Derbalute crossing to bring in the displaced and imposing sums of money on others (who do not have a car) estimated at eighth of the fuel needed to transport them and force them to resettle them with them in some places and in the house itself."
The Organization also referred to the kidnapping of the citizen Ahmed Fakhri Sheikho, 32 years old, from the people of Haj Khalil village of Rajo town, on Tuesday, while he was passing the joint checkpoint between the civil and military police and Turkish intelligence, located at the entrance of Afrin city - Rajo Road - and he was taken to an unknown destination.
