Iran begins digging tunnels in eastern Syria, on the border with Iraq

ARK News: According to US media reports, Iran has started digging tunnels at the Imam Ali base in eastern Syria on the border with Iraq, which reports say they are being used by Iran.

the Israeli company, Image Sat International, also on Tuesday, released satellite imagery that it said showed tunnels digging at the Imam Ali military base in Al-Bukamal on the Syrian-Iraqi border.
The company pointed out that the width of the tunnel is 4 or 5 meters, enough for the passage of trucks and large vehicles, and suggested that the tunnels are intended to store sensitive weapons or materials.

For its part, the American "Fox News" channel pointed out that intelligence sources confirmed to her the authenticity of the pictures published by the Israeli company specialized in surveys and analyzing data from satellites.

According to information provided by "Fox News", the length of the tunnel is about 400 feet (120 meters), 15 feet (4.5 meters) wide and 13 feet (about 4 meters) deep.
Intelligence sources say to "Fox" that the tunnel will be dedicated to storing missiles and weapons and that it is in the final stages of construction and will be used soon.
