Continuation of fierce battles between the regime forces with the intensive support of the Russian warplanes and different armed factions

ARK News: With intensive support from the Russian warplanes, regime forces continue to advance southeast of Idlib and control new villages and locations in the area among the continuation of fierce battles between them in these areas recently, according to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The Syrian Observatory said that violent clashes continued between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them against the factions and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, until late hours after midnight of yesterday, on areas at the southeastern countryside of Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory learned that regime forces -with the Russian warplanes’ intensive air support- were able to progress and control al-Zarzour, Om al-Khalakhil, and other points and positions in the area.

The Syrian Observatory also said that the violent clashes left casualties in the ranks of both parties, and in the same context, the regime forces shelled after midnight of yesterday places in Ma’aret Hurma, Kafarsijna, Sheikh Mustafa, Arinbeh, Tahtaya, al-Tah, and Om Jalal in the countryside of Idlib, while the relative and cautious calm prevails throughout the “de-escalation” area with the early hours of the morning.
