ARK News: Moscow has deployed military helicopters to patrol an area near the Syrian border with Turkey and the help in protecting Russian military police operating on the ground, according to the Interfax news agency reported on Friday.

Turkish and Russian forces are conducting joint patrols in northeastern Syria to monitor the implementation of the agreement signed by the two countries after Turkey launched an attack across its border with Syrian opposition militias a month ago, with the aim of deporting SDF and YPG fighters.

Interfax quoted Russian military pilot Dmitry Ivanov as saying that Moscow "will deploy helicopters on several routes, at an altitude of between 50 and 60 meters."
