Mohamed Ismail: Mazloum Abdi is part of the PYD and not neutral, and must show seriousness in his call for unity
ARK News: A member of the Presidential Body of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, Mohammed Ismail said that the calls for the unity of the Kurdish row are a historic opportunity, but must show seriousness by those who call for it.
In an interview with Rudaw Media Channel, on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, Ismail said that Mazloum Abdi is not neutral and is part of the PYD and his party and that when he calls for unity of the Kurdish ranks he should show seriousness in this.
Ismail added, "What Abdi is calling, for now, the Council has called him many times and is a historic opportunity for both parties and the Kurdish people, and they are in the Council are ready to do so, but the other side has to show seriousness. The agreement and meeting must be between the council and the PYD and not in the presence of 27 parties formed by the PYD overnight. "
