ARK News: Murad Qara Yilan, a member of the Executive Body of the Kurdistan Community System (KCK) and commander in chief of the Kurdistan People's Defense Forces (HPG), the military wing of the PKK, considered that the displacement of the people of Syrian Kurdistan due to the recent Turkish invasion, is a shame, asking civilians to stand by the fighters and sacrifice.

In an interview broadcasted by his party's media, Qara Yilan said the Kobani residents loaded their families on trucks and headed to the international road after several artillery shells hit the city, and added this is flawed.

A senior PKK leader said civilians must remain in their positions alongside fighters and sacrifice.

He also blamed the people of Sari Kaniye who were displaced from their homes after the Turkish army and its militias attack on October 9, blaming them for the US-brokered the SDF agreement with the Turks to evacuate the city.

Qara Yilan called on the people of Syrian Kurdistan to follow the example of the people of Gaza in Palestine, who did not leave their homes due to Israeli attacks.
