ARK News: The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored fierce clashes witnessed the use of light and medium machineguns in Afrin city center.

Sources told SOHR that the clashes broke out near Al-Villat street between persons from the factions of al-Shamiya Front and Ahrar al-Sharqiyah amid a state of panic prevailed the area due to the indiscriminate bullets, while the reasons for clashes are still unknown so far.

Local sources informed SOHR that the members of the pro-Turkey factions were mobilized and deployed in their areas of control north of Aleppo.

SOHR published on Oct. 25 that it monitored clashes in the villages of Jubb al-Na’asan and al-Sekkary in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, between members of Ahrar al-Sham Movement against members of the al-Hamzat faction.

Sources of the Syrian Observatory reported that the clashes were caused by differences between these factions on smuggling crossings, amid a state of terror among civilians as a result of the use of shells during clashes.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 13th of October 2019 that violent clashes took place in a new round of factional fighting, near the youth housing in Al-Bab city east of Aleppo, where Al-Hamza Division clashed against Sultan Murad Division, where the factions used light and medium weapons, without information about casualties so far.

It is worth mentioning that the outbreak of clashes between the various factions and armed militias, whether in the city of Afrin or other places comes against the background of their disagreement on the distribution of stolen or looted shares from citizens before the eyes of the Turkish forces
