Afrin .. Martyrdom of the elderly Suleiman Hamko after being severely beaten by armed factions

ARK News: A Kurdish civilian was martyred in the Kurdish city of Afrin on Tuesday, 5 November 2019, due to his wounds after being brutally beaten by armed factions in the region.

Local sources said: The elderly Kurdish Suleiman Hamko was martyred in the hospital town of al-Ra'i due to his wounds after being severely beaten last Friday, November 1, 2019, by armed factions, in the village of Kani Gawrike of Jenderes town.

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin documented in a report: The armed factions of Al-Hamzat and Al-Sharqiya Army militias robbed the house of Suleiman Hamko, 73 years old, from the village of Kani Gawrike of Jenderes town, for theft, and during the raid, they beat him in the head with a gas cylinder, causing blood bleeding in his head and he was taken to the recovery room in Afrin Hospital.

The armed factions that participated in Turkey's control of the region on March 18, 2018, continue with their immoral practices of killing, assault, kidnapping, looting, seizure, settlement of Arab families, and changing the demography of the region. According to activists, the aim of the abuses is to remove the remainder of the original Kurds and to settle more Arab families there.
