Al-Shamar clan threatens the YPG and the latter fortifies their positions
ARK News: Following the killing of three al-Sanadid militias in clashes between them and the YPG yesterday, October 3, 2019, in the village of Nahimiya of Tal Kochar in the Derik area of Syrian Kurdistan yesterday, Bandar Humaidi Daham al-Hadi threatened the YPG with revenge.
A familiar source reported the ARK Media Foundation: The Bandar Humaidi Daham al-Hadi announced the general horn within the clan al-Shamar, describing the YPG as traitors. The source added: The YPG fortified their positions after the receiving the threats.
Yesterday, the village of Nahimiya witnessed clashes between the YPG and the Al-Sanadid after the YPG attempted to accompany the US forces to control the oil sites which are controlled by Al Sanadid located in that area. As a result of the blockade, the clashes took place. Three of the al-Sanadid, an armed militias belonging to the Sheikh of the Shamar clan, Sheikh Hamaidi Daham al-Hadi, who is the co- chairman of the Island Canton in the PYD, were killed.
