A Thai doctor loses his life in Tal Tamer due to shelling

ARK News: A Thai doctor who is working with an organization to evacuate the wounded lost his life on Sunday, November 3, 2019, following shelling in the Rashidiye area in the countryside of Tal Tamer in Syrian Kurdistan.

According to local sources, a 37-year-old Thai doctor, Zao Senk, a member of the Free Burma Rangers, a US organization for the evacuation of the wounded, lost his life by a bombardment of a convoy of the organization's staff as they headed to evacuate the wounded, between the villages of Rashidiye and Qasimiyah in Tal Tamer countryside, where the area witnessed violent clashes between the conflicting parties that day, and two of the organization's staff were injured and taken to hospital.

Free Burma Rangers is a US organization that provides emergency medical assistance to patients, internally displaced persons, it had a key role in the evacuation of the wounded from the city of Sari Kaniye shortly after the 120-hour deadline in accordance with the US-Turkish agreement of 22 October 2019.
