The formation of the local council in Tal Abyad city, including three Kurds
ARK News: The Syrian interim government, on Sunday formed a local council of Tal Abyad city in the countryside of the northern Raqqa, in the presence of Wali of "Şanlıurfa" state Abdullah Arin.
The head of the Interim Government, Abdul Rahman Mustafa, said in a press statement that the council includes 23 members, three are from the Kurdish component and three are from the Turkmen component, and the rest are representatives of the Tal Abyad areas which controlled by the Syrian National Army, pointing out that it took into account tribal and clans balances.
The armed factions announced on 13 October last control of the city of Gire Spi / Tal Abyad in the framework of the Turkish military operation launched in the ninth of October in areas of Syrian Kurdistan.
