More casualties raise the death toll to about 15 civilians and fighters in the booby-trapped car explosion in Gire Spi(Tal Abyad) city

ARK News: The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented more casualties as a result of the explosion that hit Gire Spi (Tal Abyad) city, which is under the control of the Turkish Forces and their loyal factions, on the afternoon of the 2nd of November 2019, where it rose to 14, the number of faction militias and civilians who were killed in a car bomb near a gas station in the city north of al-Raqqa city, and the number of people who were killed may still rise because there are more than 21 injured people.

The Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored clashes in Abu Rasin area (Zarkan), between the Syria Democratic Forces against Turkey-loyal factions, accompanied by intensive exchange of shelling and targeting, and the clashes that continued since yesterday evening until late time after midnight of yesterday led to the re-advancement of the Syria Democratic Forces and their regaining of control of Dawdi, Aziza, Qasimiyah, and Jamiliyyeh villages and 3 other villages in the area, amid information about more casualties in the ranks of both parties, and in the same context, the factions tried again to close the highway of Jalabiyya – Ayn Isa north of al-Raqqa city, through a new attack, carried out during the evening hours on the area, but they were not able to achieve their goal, while the cautious calm prevails all east Euphrates area since the dawn of today until the moment.

The Syrian Observatory published yesterday that clashes continue at varying pace violence between the Syria Democratic Forces against Turkey-loyal factions, in areas in the countryside of Ayn Isa north of Raqqa city, in an attempt by the factions to close the road of Jalabiyya – Ayn Isa, accompanied by exchange of shelling and targeting and information about casualties, while SDF was able to repel an attack by Turkey-loyal factions on Rashidiye village area in Tal Tamir countryside, while a civilian was killed and others were injured in rocket shelling carried out by the Ankara-loyal factions on Sibatya village.

On 13 October, the Turkish army and its armed groups took control of the aforementioned city as part of a military operation aimed at establishing a "safe area".
