Akar reveals joint Turkish-Russian patrols in the eastern Euphrates
ARK News: Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar declared that Turkey will soon conduct joint patrols with Russia in the "safe zone" northeast of Syria.
Akar said that the Turkish and Russian delegations continued their talks on Wednesday for the implementation of the points agreed in Sochi between the presidents of the two countries, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin.
Akar described the meetings and talks between the two sides positively, and explained in response to a question on the date of the start of patrols with the Russian side: "It will begin soon in the coming days, and there is no problem in this regard."
