Barzani Charity Foundation announces reaching the capacity of the camp Bardarash its maximum
ARK News: Barzani Charity Foundation has published on its official Facebook page that Bardarash camp, where the new Syrian refugees have been transferred, has been fully filled and has reached its maximum capacity and the new batches of refugees will be transferred to the Gwelan camp in Duhok countryside.
According to statistics issued by the Barzani Charity Foundation, the number of Syrian refugees arriving in the Kurdistan region from the ninth of this month and until 11 pm from the date of Saturday 26 October 2019, reached to 11591 refugees (2318 families), while in the past 24 hours, only 344 Syrian refugees have arrived in the region.
About 230,000 Syrian refugees live in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, about 40% of whom live in nine camps in the governorates of Duhok, Erbil, and Sulaimaniyah, while the new refugees will be transferred to Bardarash camp in the countryside of Duhok, and according to the information the new patches will be transferred to Gwelan camp in the countryside of Duhok.
