Masrour Barzani stresses the need to end the Turkish attack on the east of the Euphrates
ARK News: Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received on Tuesday US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs David Schenker.
During the meeting, which was attended by US Ambassador to Iraq Matthew Toller, they discussed the latest developments in Syria and Iraq, the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government expressed concern about the current situation in northeastern Syria and its repercussions in the region.
During the meeting, they stressed the need to end tensions and violence, especially as the continuation of wars and unrest paves the way for the re-emergence of terrorist organizations in the region.
The international community was also invited to contribute to assist the Kurdistan Region in sheltering displaced persons and refugees seeking safety.
