President Barzani renews his concern for the future Kurdish people in Syrian Kurdistan
ARK News: President Masoud Barzani reiterated his concern for the future of the Kurdish people in Syria, and expressed his concern and observations about the situation and the future of the Kurdish people in that country.
This came during the reception of President Barzani, on Tuesday, the new EU ambassador to Iraq, Martin Haus, in the presence of the official office of the European Union in Erbil Vinco Popo.
According to a statement issued by the Office of President Barzani, the new EU ambassador to Iraq, during the meeting expressed satisfaction with the positive progress in the region compared to the rest of the region, he also expressed his thanks and appreciation for the role of President Barzani and the forces of Kurdistan Peshmerga in the fight against ISIS terrorists, and the sheltering and hosting of hundreds of thousands of displaced people and refugees in the region.
The European Union Ambassador to Iraq, to President Barzani, reviewed the EU's position on the current situation in Syria.
The statement added that President Barzani congratulated the new ambassador of the European Union to Iraq on the occasion of assuming his duties in Iraq, and wished him success.
Referring to the reasons that led to the deterioration of the situation in Syria, he expressed his concern and observations about the situation and the future of the Kurdish people in that country.
