ARK News: A car bomb on Friday, exploded in Qamishlo city, killing and wounding a number of civilians, a number of civilians were martyred and injured.

According to sources from Qamishlo city reported the ARK News, a car bomb attack that targeted Al-Omari restaurant in Monir Habib Street in al-Gharbi neighborhood injured and martyred a number of civilians.

According to the same sources, the explosion resulted in significant material losses, where a number of cars and motorcycles parked in the targeted area were burned, along with the shops and buildings adjacent to the blast site.

On the other hand, the Asayish of the PYD in a statement accused the Islamic State terrorist organization of being behind the bombing, taking advantage of the statement according to the Turkish military operation against Syrian Kurdistan, the statement pointed to the martyrdom of three civilians and wounding 9 others.

In the same context, activists mourned through social networking platforms the martyrdom of the young Fadi Ibrahim Al-Omari 35 years, the owner of the Dijla restaurant in Monir Habib Street, noting that "Fadi" opened his restaurant a week ago, while they did not identify the identities of the rest of the victims.

It is worth mentioning that the city of Qamishlo has been shelled on a daily basis by the Turkish army since Wednesday, October 9, 2019
