ARK News: The Russian Foreign Ministry expressed Moscow's concern over the escalation of the Turkish military operation in Syrian Kurdistan.
The Russian Foreign Ministry statement on Friday, commenting on the Turkish operation: "The armed clashes on the border areas, the escalation of tension and violence on the east bank of the Euphrates can only be a cause for concern ... We consider it important to prevent further destabilization of the situation in the north-east and to prevent the suffering of the civilian population. "
The statement added that "in this regard, we call on all parties to maintain the utmost restraint and to carefully check the measures taken, with full respect for the sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of Syria."
