ARK News: The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has warned of "human suffering" from the Turkish operation in northern Syria, noting that the attack could endanger the lives of hundreds of thousands of civilians.

"The escalation of the conflict in northern Syria is threatening to cause more human suffering and new waves of displacement, adding to what is now the largest displacement crisis in the world," UNHCR said in a statement on Thursday.

The UNHCR pointed out in a statement that tens of thousands of civilians have been forced displacement, so as to escape the fighting and the search for a safe haven.
