ARK News: The Kurdistan Parliament, on Wednesday evening, called for an immediate end to the attack launched by Turkey, and called for dialogue to solve problems.

The Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament said in a statement: The Kurdistan Parliament is watching with great concern the Turkish military invasion of many areas in western Kurdistan, and calls for an immediate halt to the operation, and to solve problems through dialogue and peaceful means.

The statement added that the region is now in a delicate and unstable situation, and the war on terrorism is not over. The people of the region are living in a state of anxiety and instability, and we do not believe that this attack will generate solutions to existing problems, but will make them more difficult and remove away the chances of peace.

The Kurdistan Parliament called on the international community, especially America, Russia, Britain, and France, to put all its potential to end this abhorrent attack and prevent the region from becoming more unstable and prepare the ground for dialogue.

The Kurdistan Parliament strongly condemned all acts targeting unarmed civilians by all parties, and confirmed that it supports dialogue to find solutions to all problems, stressing that the Kurdish people proudly participated in the defeat of ISIS and bring peace and stability in the region and the world, and that the current situation in western Kurdistan provides the ground for the return of terrorism, and deal a blow to the gains of the war on terrorism, and exposes security regional and international peace to a real danger.

It added that “the Kurdistan Parliament supports peaceful and democratic solutions to achieve the legitimate rights of the Kurdish people in all parts of Kurdistan, and it calls on all Kurdish forces and parties to overcome their differences and make all peaceful political, diplomatic and civil efforts to end this attack”, stressing that the parliament is preparing to hold a special session to discuss the situation of Western Kurdistan.
