ARK News: Both Republican Senator Lindsey Graham and Democrat Chris Cunz have called for a secret meeting in Congress to discuss President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw from Syrian Kurdistan.

Graham and Cunz demanded this in a letter on Tuesday to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Democrat leader Chris Cunz, Anatolia said.

The letter said both Democrats and Republicans were "excited by the decision to withdraw from northern Syria, ahead of Turkey's military operation in the region."
"The resolution will have serious consequences for US strategic interests, and it strengthens Turkey, Russia, and Iran, while reducing American influence in the region," it clarified.

The letter called for the presence of the Secretary of Defense, the US State Department, and representatives of intelligence, at the secret meeting to be held soon, with the presence of all members of the Council.

This comes in light of the continued dispatch of Turkish military reinforcements towards the Syrian border, after the issuance of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday, directives to launch a military operation "imminent" east of the Euphrates.
