SDF: America has not fulfilled its obligations and withdrew its troops from the border with Turkey
ARK News: Syria’s Democratic Forces said on Monday, 7 October 2019 that the US troops withdrew from border areas in Syrian Kurdistan after they have not implemented their commitments and that the Turkish operation would have a "significantly negative" impact on the war on the organization of Da’esh.
"US forces have not fulfilled their obligations and have withdrawn their forces from border areas with Turkey, and Turkey is now preparing for an invasion of northern and eastern Syria," the SDF, which controls large parts of the region, said in a statement.
The White House said on Sunday evening that Turkish troops would soon go ahead with their long-planned military operation there to create what it so calls a "safe zone" and that US forces would not participate or support the Turkish operation.
