ARK News: A Human Rights Organization working to document violations in the Kurdish region of Afrin reported on its main page of Facebook yesterday that pro-Turkish militias with the military police kidnapped on Sunday, 20 Kurdish civilians from the Kurdish region of Afrin for allegedly dealing with the former PYD administration.

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin said that the military Police at down on Friday on 4.9.2019, raided, surrounded, and closed all roads lead to the village of Gurzele of Afrin city and searched the houses for wanted men, after that they kidnapped of 20 Kurdish citizen, under the pretext of dealing with the former self-administration, and they were taken to unknown destination. Their fate is still unknown.

The Organization added that as a result of the convicted operation, more than twenty Kurdish citizens were kidnapped from the village, including elderly people over the age of 60 years, and taken to an unknown destination without knowing their fate so far, and their names are:

It is worth mentioning that violations by the armed factions loyal to the Turkish army against civilians in Afrin region continue such as taxes, kidnappings, ransom, burning forests for firewood, and accusing the Kurds in order to extort them financially to reach a comprehensive demographic change after forcing the Kurds to leave their homes.
