ARK News: Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar has assured his US counterpart, Mark Isber, of his country's determination to end work with the United States on the establishment of a "safe zone" in northern Syria in the event of stalled construction.
The Turkish Defense Ministry issued a statement, pointing out that the Turkish side reiterated the need to "establish a safe area, i.e. peace corridor along the border 30 km east of the Euphrates."
"This action will end in the event of a default or delay, and we are very determined to do so," Akar told Esber.
