ARK News: YPG militants on Sunday, 29 September 2019, announced their withdrawal from Sari Kaniye in Syrian Kurdistan and officially handed over their points to the Military Council of Sari Kaniye, after the destruction of tunnels in the city under the supervision of the US-led international coalition forces.

The PYD Hawar Agency confirmed that joint operations of Sari Kaniye Council with US forces and the destruction of tunnels and military fortifications in the countryside of Sari Kaniye have been completed in the completion of the latest stages of the implementation of the plan "Safe Zone" to be established in the eastern Euphrates in Syrian Kurdistan.

The PYD announced that it would withdraw to a depth of 5 km to 14 km from the border areas with Turkey with its weapons under the supervision of the international coalition forces within the framework of the Turkish-American agreement.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Friday reiterated Ankara's warning that it would act unilaterally if the talks did not yield positive results.
