ARK News: Syrian Deputy Prime Minister Walid al-Muallem in a speech to the 74th session of the UN General Assembly on Saturday said that Syria’s Democratic Forces (SDF) is committing criminal, repressive and terrorist practices against the Syrian people.
In his speech, al-Muallem added that SDF is committing terrorist, criminal and repressive practices against the Syrian people in the governorates of Hasaka, Raqqa, and Deir al-Zour.
The Syrian regime handed over areas of Syrian Kurdistan in the summer of 2012 to the PYD, which in turn suppressed all activities opposed to the Syrian regime, while the Syrian regime exists to date today in the cities of Qamishlo and Hasaka in Syrian Kurdistan, and it also conducts its civil and military activities and the activities of the Baath Party, in addition to continuous visits by regime officials at the highest levels to the cities of Qamishlo and Hasaka, and despite the tacit agreement between the regime and PYD on the hand over and delivery, but the regime to date does not officially recognize the management of PYD.
