Pictures .. PDK-S celebrates the second anniversary of the referendum in Qushtapa

ARK News: On the occasion of the second anniversary of the referendum, the Qushtapa organization of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria PDK-S held a celebration on Wednesday 25 September 2019 in the Qushtapa camp for Syrian Kurdish refugees in Erbil countryside, the capital of Kurdistan region.

The celebration began at 4 pm with the raising of the Kurdish flag (100 meters) in front of the Barzani Charity Foundation to Nawroz Square in the camp.

The ceremony was attended by a member of the Central Committee and an official of the organization of the Erbil surrounding of the PDK-S Sarhan Hasan and members of the Area Committee, Branches, Locality party, in addition to a large number of refugees.

During the ceremony, the official of the Erbil surrounding organization of the PDK-S Sarhan Hassan delivered a speech, in which he said: "It is a historic day in the history of the struggle of the Kurdish people under the leadership of President Masoud Barzani, and the Kurdish people were able through this referendum to communicate their voice to the whole world that they want self-determination."

The citizens of the Kurdistan region, on 25-9-2017, went to the polling stations to cast their votes in the referendum independence of the region from Iraq, and the proportion of those who voted (yes) reached 92.73%.
