A demonstration in Shaddadi against the PYD
ARK News: Demonstrations took place on Monday morning in the city of Shaddadi in the southern countryside of Hasaka against the Democratic Union Party the (PYD) refusing its arbitrary practices against the people of the city.
Local sources reported that the protests were accompanied by a strike of commercial events, where merchants closed their shops in supporting of the demonstrators demanding the expulsion of "PYD" militants from the city after they were harassing the people and imposing arbitrary decisions.
The sources pointed out that the protesters have closed the main street in the city which locates in south of the city of Hasaka by about 60 km and burned tires to prevent PYD militants entering the city.
Media outlets reported that the demonstrations came after the people were restricted by banning motorcycles, poor services in the city and arrests of dozens of youths and demonstrators who were demanded solutions.
