The PYD: We will not recognize the output of the Constitutional Committee

ARK News: After the PYD was excluded from the Constitutional Committee, the PYD issued a statement confirming the non-recognition of the outputs of the Constitutional Committee, and insists that this step stands against the interest of Syria.

The PYD statement said that we consider the importance of drafting a Syrian democratic constitution with the participation of all Syrians and all components and regions, where the absence of any party means the absence of democracy in the constitution.

This statement by the PYD comes at a time when its militants continue to kidnap and kill Kurdish citizens in Syrian Kurdistan, and also, the offices of the Kurdish National Council in Syria parties are still closed, and the PYD continues its tyranny and stifling political life in Syrian Kurdistan.

The PYD confirmed that we would not be concerned with any outputs of the Constitutional Committee, we believe that seeing the Syrian scene in a pragmatic and realistic manner serves stability and solution, and the absence of any important Syrian part means deepening the crisis, and this is contrary to our efforts to serve Syria and its people.

While the PYD insists on serving Syria on the ground and its people, analysts say that the PYD's policy is no different from the Syrian regime's policy of killing, kidnapping, and executions of freedoms and political life.
