"Go back to your mountains" .. Calls to expel PKK cadres from Amouda

Activists on Monday, September 16, 2019, circulated on the social networking site "Facebook" pictures of paper leaflets hung on the walls of Amouda city in Syrian Kurdistan.

The pictures on the walls show calls for PKK cadres to return to the Qandil Mountains, the main center of PKK militants, to allow crossings with neighboring countries to be opened for humanitarian access.

It came in the paper publications, according to the copies that reached the ARK Media Foundation: “Go back to your mountains," referring to the PKK, "We do not want war but peace," among other calls.

The PYD, the Syrian wing of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), controls Kurdistan Syria after a security agreement (receipt and delivery) between them and the Syrian regime, where most of the leaders that control to affairs are Qandil militants (PKK).
