Erbil .. SYUDK-W commemorates its sixth founding
ARK News: the Kurdistan Region branch of the Students and Youth Union of Democratic Kurdistan -West (SYUDK-W) on Thursday, September 12, 2019, revived a celebration, at the Rawshanbiri Hall in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of its birth.
The ceremony was attended by a number of political figures, youth and students from the Kurdistan region, including the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc in the Kurdistan Parliament Mr. Omid Khoshnaw and the youth of Kurdistan Iran, a delegation from the leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, the Kurdish National Council, representatives of the Kurdistan government and a group of youth and students of Syrian Kurdistan.
The ceremony began after welcoming guests by standing a minute of silence on the souls of the martyrs of Kurdistan, led by Barzani the immortal and the martyr Idris Barzani, interspersed with the Kurdish national anthem “Ayi Raqib”.
Ahmed Mohammed Amin, head of the Kurdistan Region branch of the Union, delivered a speech on this occasion, after which a brief documentary film about some of the activities and events of the Kurdistan Region branch was presented.
Tayar Ali also performed many songs, in addition to folkloric dance performances by “Kulilken Nawroz” band, and for its part, a group composed by Hamawlo (Sarhad Kavar, Judy Juma, Khabat Damir) provided many Kurdish and Western songs and the young Joan from the localities of the Union presented a song.
At the end of the ceremony, the Kurdistan Region branch official, Ahmed Mohammed Amin, presented a thank-you card to the artists and participants in the foundation ceremony.
