Meeting in the Turkish presidential complex for the safe area
ARK News: Turkish equipment continues to establish the safe area it seeks to establish on its border with Syria in Kurdistan Syria east of the Euphrates.
According to the Turkish website "TRT HABER", a meeting was held in the Turkish presidential complex on Thursday, September 12, chaired by Turkish Vice President, Fouad Oktay, with Turkish ministers and technicians.
The meeting was attended by deputies of the Presidency, deputies in parliament and ministers concerned in the region, as well as deputies on religious affairs and the Turkish Red Crescent.
Representatives of the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology also attended the meeting.
The meeting included discussion of preparations which had taken on regarding the safe area in northern Syria and preparations "to be taken."
