The ENKS stands in solidarity with the vigil in Qamishlo
ARK News: The Kurdish National Council in Syria ENKS issued on Wednesday, 11 September 2019, a statement of solidarity with the vigil announced by a group of young Kurds, the following is the text of the statement:
We affirm what it came in the statement which made by a group of Kurdish activists on the dire economic conditions which the people suffered throughout Syria and in Hasaka province in particular, where the high prices of consumer goods and all the necessities of decent living in modern man, especially after the fall of the exchange rate of the Syrian pound against the US dollar and other hard currencies, and the increase in fuel prices of diesel and gasoline, which reflected negatively on the prices of the general living materials, therefore, we affirm our solidarity with the group of Kurdish activists mentioned and call on the masses of our people to solidarity with them in the vigil which will be held on Thursday, 12/9/2019 at 5 pm in front of the United Nations headquarters located in the tourist street in Qamishlo to demand the return of the prices of these materials to what they were previously, and the demand to stop increasing the suffering of the masses from poverty and destitution, but to work in order to enable them to provide the right to live citizen requirements easily.
Once again, we affirm our solidarity with the endeavors and efforts of those activists and in their vigil that goes hand in hand to serve the masses of our people with all its components and national and religious affiliations of Arabic, Kurdish, Syriac, and others.
