A delegation from YXCDK-R visits UNHCR's General Directorate in Erbil

ARK News: A delegation from the Kurdistan Region branch of the Student & Youth Union Kurdistan Democratic- West (YXCDK-R) visited on Tuesday 10.9.2019 the General Directorate of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Erbil.

The delegation of the Union included both an official of the Kurdistan Branch Ahmed Mohammed Amin and members of the Administrative Council of the branch.

Some issues related to basic and higher education were discussed, and how to coordinate with the DAFI scholarship and work to increase the number of seats allocated for this year, and resolve some financial issues so that students can continue their education without difficulties.

The delegation of the Union also spoke with the General Administration of UNHCR about the cases of transfer and application on the basis of secondary certificate and called on them to stand and care in order to provide the best for students of Syrian Kurdistan.

For its part, UNHCR management commended the work of the Union and its efforts, wishing to increase coordination between the parties in the future.
