Afrin .. Militias take out a Kurdish to settle an Arab family

ARK News: Armed militias belonging to al-Amshat in the Shiye town of the Kurdish region of Afrin, took out a Kurdish civilian of his house after torturing and insulting him in order to settle an Arab family instead.

Local sources from Shiye town said yesterday, September 4, 2019, that al-Amshat militia in the village of Qarmitlq of Shiye town a few days ago forced Hikmat Hanif to evacuate his house forcibly to settle an Arab family. The sources added: After his refusing to evacuate the house, the militias opened fire between his feet to inter terror in him, then he was tortured severely later, which forced him to evacuate his house for the militias to settle an Arab family instead.

On the other hand, the Human Rights Organization in Afrin said: On 02/09/2019, the armed factions raided the village of Der Siwan, which belonged to Shara town, and abducted more than ten Kurdish citizens, including women, under the pretext of compulsory service in the previous administration and dealing with the PYD’s party to impose royalty or financial ransom on them in exchange for their release, as was done with many former citizens.

According to the Human Rights organization, there were known among them the following names:

1. Latifa Seydo 35 years old.
2. Amira Sheikh Ahmed 60 years old.
3. Moulida Abdul Rahman Khalil 52 years old.
4. Nabiha Khalil Ujaili 55 years old.
5. Widad Youssef Waqqas 61 years old.
6. Mustafa Jamo 30 years old.
7. Adam Omar Majeed 50 years old.
8. Horo Mannan Othman about 53 years old.
9. Hasan Ahmed 27 years old.

The militias of armed factions have raided the village of Marate of the Afrin city and kidnapped dozens of Kurdish civilians, according to media sources and that 80 Kurdish civilians also were kidnapped during the month of August, while the fate of the majority of them is still unknown.
