Erdogan gives 3 weeks deadline to America to establish a safe area east of the Euphrates
ARK News: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday that his country would implement its own operations plan for the safe area east of the Euphrates if the Turkish army does not control the area within a few weeks.
This came in a speech delivered during the ceremony of distributing certificates to graduates at the Military Academy of the National Defense University in Istanbul.
The president stressed that "we no longer have patience with the establishment of the safe area east of the Euphrates along the Syrian-Turkish border."
He stressed that "if we do not start to establish a safe area east of the Euphrates effectively through our soldiers and conditions within two or three weeks, let the other side think about the consequences."
"We will implement our own operation plan if our soldiers do not control the area within a few days”, he added.
He said that the problem in the region is not in the Islamic State terrorist organization, but "a war of interests for several forces, no one is trying to invoke this organization to pass its projects." According to his claim
