Turkey arrests 106 illegal immigrants, and Greece declares its inability to absorb refugees
ARK News: Turkish authorities have arrested 106 illegal immigrants in western Turkey while they were trying to reach Europe.
Turkish state media said security forces had arrested 106 illegal immigrants west of the country on their way to the Greek islands.
The sources confirmed that most of these migrants are of Afghan and Syrian nationalities.
Greek media have confirmed that in recent days there has been an increase in the number of irregular migrants flocking to the islands across the Aegean Sea.
The sources pointed out that the number of irregular migrants detained in the Greek islands amounted to 24 thousand migrants, and that is three times the capacity of the camps.
Reports noted that irregular migrants are suffering from difficult conditions in the camps.
