The Kurdish National Council will participate in the Syrian Interim Government
ARK News: The Kurdish National Council in Syria will participate in the new Syrian interim government headed by Abdul Rahman Mustafa, former head of the National Coalition of the Revolutionary and Opposition Forces.
The General Body of the National Coalition of Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces is scheduled to hold its regular meeting in the Turkish city of Istanbul on Saturday 31st of August 2019 and will continue its regular meeting on Saturday and Sunday.
A member of the General Body of the Coalition Mohammed Wali stressed to ARK News through his participation in the newsletter that the formation of the Interim Syrian Government will be at the top of the agenda of the Commission's meetings, where the Kurds will participate in this session in the bodies of the interim government and there may be a Kurdish minister from the Kurdish National Council in Syria.
The source added that the council is entitled to more than one position in the interim government and the council decided to participate in this session.
According to the information obtained by ARK News that Mohammed Saeed Suleiman, a citizen of the city of Afrin, will be the minister of the Local Administration in the Interim Government, in addition to other positions of the Council, we could not identify.
