SDF removes its fortifications on the border after the US-Turkish agreement

ARK News: The US Central Command announced on its official account on the social networking site "Twitter" that SDF destroyed the military fortifications, after the recent call between the US and Turkish defense ministers.

It came in the tweet: “Within 24 hours of a telephone conversation between the US Secretary of Defense and the Turkish Defense Minister to discuss security in northeastern Syria, the SDF destroyed the military fortifications on August 22. This demonstrates SDF's commitment to supporting the implementation of the security mechanism framework."
