Afrin … The abduction of a member of the Area Committee in PDK-S

ARK News: Armed factions in the Kurdish region of Afrin kidnapped on Thursday 22 August 2019 a member of the Area Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria and took him to an unknown destination.

According to local sources from within Afrin that the factions kidnapped Sheikh Saeed Zada a member of the Area Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, as well as a member of the Local Council in Shara town and took him to an unknown destination.

The sources confirmed that he had been kidnapped a few days ago while the charges against him were not identified and nor information about him until the preparation of this news.

Mohammed Ahmed Khudir, a member of the PDK-S and a member of the Local Council in Basouta town was kidnapped on 21-8-2019 and released a day after his abduction. The fate of Zaynab Ahmed Battal, who was abducted from Basouta town on August 19, his fate is still unknown.

It is worth mentioning that the armed groups continue in their violations against the Kurdish civilians in Afrin region from kidnapping, arrest, and murder, in addition to the imposition of heavy ransoms on civilians which aiming to leave people their homes for the demographic change.
