The Western Local Council in Hasaka of ENKS holds its regular meeting
ARK News: The Western Local Council held in Hasaka, Syrian Kurdistan of Kurdish National Council in Syria held on Sunday 18/8/2019, its regular meeting in the presence of most of its members.
The meeting began with a minute of silence on the souls of the martyrs of Kurds and Kurdistan, and the inspection was read, and the attendees adopted the agenda of the session.
The attendees then discussed the organizational situation, and the head of the Council, Khalaf Aminake (Zana’s father), stressed the need to abide by the meetings and all local activities by the members.
The attendees also discussed the issue of forming Local sub-Councils in neighborhoods within the scope of work of the Local.
The status of the Civil Peace Council also was discussed in Hasaka, and the importance of continuing the work within the Civil Peace Council, especially as the Civil Peace Council deviated from the objectives for which it was established, and the attendees agreed on the need to consult with the Local of East Hasaka, and take the appropriate position of the Civil Peace Council.
The attendees stressed the need for the Western Council to communicate with national figures in Hasaka, and to conduct periodic visits to them in order to put them in the picture of developments in the general situation.
