Abdul Hakim Bashar reveals the fate of the regime in Qamishlo within the safe area
ARK News: Dr. Abdul Hakim Bashar, Vice President of the National Coalition of Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, revealed about the US and Turkish position on the Syrian regime's presence in the safe area to be established.
Bashar in his participation within the program Kurdistan 24 was published on Saturday 17.08.2019 said that the Americans and the Turks want to keep the Syrian regime within the security square in the city center of Qamishlo in Syrian Syria, which will be located within the safe area, while the rest of the city’s neighborhoods the PYD militants will withdraw from them.
“A joint Turkish-U.S. operation center to establish and manage a safe zone in northeast Syria will be fully operational next week”, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said on Friday.
