The PYD tightens the noose on the people of Shaddadi and its countryside

ARK News: The PYD militants tightened the noose on the residents through depriving them of the basic necessities of life in Shaddadi city of and its countryside south of Hasaka.

Activists said that the people of Shaddadi city complain about the domination of the PYD militants on them and depriving them of the most basic services in an attempt to humiliate them and force them to join their ranks.

The source explained that the city has been suffering for more than two weeks from a shortage of bread and the inability of ovens to cover the need of the city, where the distribution of this article has become a monopoly on the elements of the PYD on the basis of patronage.

The same source pointed out that the crisis was not limited to bread, but also included fuel transported through tankers to areas of the Assad regime, and the southern countryside, in general, suffers from a lack of water and their dependence on groundwater wells that need electricity which is not already available to operate them.

The sources pointed out that the people resorted to buying water from street vendors, where the price of the tank capacity (5) barrels to (1500) SP, while the water sold in other areas to 3 thousand SP.
