Turkey: America promised that the safe area to be a depth of 32 km
ARK News: Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that there are issues to be specified within the Turkish-American agreement on the safe area in Syrian Kurdistan, coinciding with the visit of a senior US military delegation to the province of “Şanlıurfa”.
Ihsan oglu in a news conference in Ankara told on Thursday that US President Donald Trump promised the safe area would be 20 miles (32 km), he added that "the militants of (YPG) must be removed from the area." pointing out that Washington continues to supply SDF with weapons, which Ankara rejects.
He pointed out that "any tactic of procrastination by the United States will not be acceptable .. Unfortunately, they resorted to procrastination in" Manbij "and did not keep their promises," stressing the need to remove the gunmen of (SDF) from the east of the Euphrates.
Ankara and Washington reached an agreement last week to establish a "joint operations center" in Turkey as soon as possible to coordinate and manage the establishment of the safe zone in Syrian Kurdistan.
