Ankara announces the start of the “infrastructure installation” of the Joint Operations Center to establish a safe area in northern Syria

ARK News: Ankara announced, starting in the work of “infrastructure installation” Center for joint operations in the framework to establishing a safe area in northern Syria.

The Turkish Defense Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that the work is continuing to activate the joint operations center to be established in the province of “Şanlıurfa” in southern Turkey, within the framework of the safe area planned to be established in northern Syria in coordination with the United States.

The Ministry added that it began with the US delegation, composed of 6 people, in infrastructure works for the Joint Operations Center installation, and it has been the provision of equipment related to the sensitive tasks for the center.

The Ministry pointed out that the work is continuing to establish and activate the Joint Operations Center as soon as possible and without any delay.
