ARK News: In conjunction with the Turkish-American meetings for the safe area, and statements by the leaders of the PYD of agreeing to the depth of five kilometers to this region and the withdrawal of heavy weapons, the PYD began the gradual withdrawal from the city of Qamishlo in Syrian Kurdistan.

An official source revealed to ARK News that the PYD began to gradually disappear from Qamishlo, and the first steps were to remove the flags and pictures of the PYD, and the decision to stop giving license plate which belonged to the PYD administration, and the return to the regime's plates, in addition to the disappearance of armed manifestations and patrols of the PYD" from the city center significantly and the stop of campaigns of arresting of young people for forced conscription downtown.

The same source revealed to ARK News that the PYD will begin in the next few days to close the institutions and ministries of its administration and withdraw them out of the city.

Ilham Ahmed, a leader in Syria Democratic Council, announced that they had agreed to a depth of five kilometers for the safe zone and to withdraw heavy weapons to prove to the world that they posed no threat to Turkey.
