Clarification on the allegations of Hawar Agency of the PYD

ARK News: The Hawar agency ANHA of the Democratic Union Party the (PYD) published on August 9, 2019, alleged news that a meeting between representatives of the Kurdish National Council in the coalition and members of its presidency with the Turkish intelligence on July 27, 2019

We wish to emphasize that the Kurdish National Council is keen not to be drawn to the polemics and tendentious media campaigns that increase the differences between the Council and the Democratic Union Party the PYD, and the aim of this campaign is to abort the French initiative, which seeks to take confidence-building steps to heal the rift between the parties, and in this context, what is published by the Hawar agency is a shame and far from truth and reality and does not deserve to comment more and hurt in the direction of repudiation of the efforts of unity of position at this important stage.

The Kurdish National Council affirms its commitment to the French initiative, and it will not be dragged into polemics which aimed at torpedoing the initiative.
